The Henry Bury Society
The Revd Henry Bury was the school's first benefactor, leaving an endowment in his will when he died in 1634. The aim of the Henry Bury Society is to provide an intellectually exciting forum which will enhance the boys' critical thinking skills and their ability to make connections between different fields of thought and study.
The inaugural lecture was given on 14th March 2011. The guest speaker was Mr David Exham, a former Headmaster of Bloxham School in Oxfordshire. Mr Exham's title was Science and God: Can we believe in both? Click below for the lecture:
