BGSB also experienced some success in the long jump as Chuk Ururuka finished in 4th place for the long jump.
In the sprint event finals all boy performed well but the stand out performance was Joey Ururuka who won both the 100m and 200m with ease breaking both school records, which were previously held by Sam Millington and Joshua Mason.
The afternoon also saw the finals for the 800m and 1500m. BGSB struggled to finish on the podium for most of the events but a stand out performance from Sebastian Thompson saw him finish in 2nd and setting a new school record which was previously held by Guy Webster.
The competition finished with the 4x100m relay final, which all teams had qualified for. Both the U14 and U16 teams ran well both finishing on the podium and breaking school records. Well done to all boys that took part in the event.
