Our curriculum enables each boy to enjoy a broad and balanced programme of study, which lays firm foundations for increasing specialisation as he progresses through the school. We have an Oxbridge Co-ordinator and we make provision for boys who require additional support, including those who are identified as being gifted and talented.
At GCSE all boys study English, Mathematics, the three separate Sciences and a modern foreign language. They then choose from a wide range of options, with most boys studying ten subjects. In the Sixth Form students study four or five subjects to AS level and have the option of reducing to three subjects at A2 level.
The curriculum is supported and enriched by an extensive programme of educational visits, by field work, by language exchange programmes (with schools in Dijon and Cologne) and by visitors to the school.
