All boys are encouraged to take part in a wide range of extra-curricular activities in order to extend their interests and skills.

The sports on offer include Football, Cricket, Athletics, Cross Country and Swimming. Throughout the age groups the boys have the opportunity to represent the school or their house. The aim is to extend each boy’s ability and skills through coaching and competition at the appropriate level.

The boys are given many opportunities to develop their skills and pursue their enthusiasms. A wide range of extra-curricular activities takes place during the extended lunch break. These include Art, Science, Cookery, Choir, Orchestra, Wind Group, String Group, Pool, Table Tennis, Chess, IT, Drama and the production of the school newspaper.

We have an extensive outdoor activities programme. This takes the form of day trips in Introitus (Year 3) and Transitus I (Year 4), building up to a two day trip to Ambleside in Transitus II (Year 5) and a three and a half day course at Edale YHA residential centre for Exitus (Year 6). In addition boys from Exitus plan a self-reliant journey to Borrowdale in the Lake District in the summer term
