Two of our Sixth Formers, Scott Mody and Richard Stanton, are to have poems published in the forthcoming edition of Iris magazine, a magazine which promotes Classics in schools. They wrote the poems, translations of Ovid's Amores, as part of their AS Latin course. The editor of the magazine, Dr Lorna Robinson, sent her congratulations to Scott and Richard and described their poems as 'two excellent pieces'.
